Unlike traditional cloud diaries that scan your private writing and sell analytics, Remory utilizes End-to-End Encryption (E2EE). Your texts, photos, and voice recordings are encrypted on your device before uploading. No one—not even the Remory development team—can read or access your memories.

How secure is Remory?

Remory uses end-to-end encryption. All of your diary entries, scrapbooks, locations, and uploaded images are encrypted on your local device before being sent to our Firebase cloud databases. We use a zero-knowledge architecture, meaning nobody besides you (and the family members you explicitly invite) holds the decryption keys.

What are Shared Vaults?

Shared Vaults are collaborative scrapbooks where multiple family members or friends can contribute memories. Only invited users can upload and view contents inside the vault. The owner of the vault can manage user members and revoke access keys if needed.

Is Remory free to use?

Yes, Remory offers a free tier which includes full access to local journaling, encryption, and the Remo AI companion. Premium features, such as increased cloud storage space for high-resolution videos, shared vaults beyond 5 members, and automated secure key backups, are available under subscription plans.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can request account deletion easily inside the mobile application under Profile Settings. Alternatively, you can fill out our web-based form on the Account & Data Deletion page. We delete all related Firebase profiles, personal databases, and user media storage permanently within 14 days of verification.
